Sum Studios opened in June 2013 with the business building, a carefully revived space that brings the fast-paced demands of creative and digital businesses to life in a lovingly revived Victorian architectural masterpiece.
The new building has been an amazing success, and has been fully let since 18 months of opening. With small studios of just 10sqm to large bright 120sqm studios, Sum sets the benchmark for creative workspace in Sheffield. The mix of beautiful Victorian architecture and confident, modern interventions has won various RIBA awards and Sheffield Civic Trust Design Awards for designs and sustainability.
